I've always liked the look of a pushed forward front. Thank Man, almost got the dash completely installed and wired last night too.

Are you gonna have too move your gearbox forward with your axle that far forward?

Looks great! Don't stress out about being tall, you can always run it and mess with the ride height later.  Mine handles a ton better after dropping it an inch and a half and stiffening up the spring rates a bit, but it took driving it on some trips and using it to get it dialed in.

Well got motivated today and got the dash finished installed, carpet laid and glued in and all the trim from the B pillar forward (minus the A pillar trim, couldnt find those)

Looks bad ass, better then I expected.

Oh yes!! Into the radiator support, but messing with the box before I have high steer makes no sense to me, so its on hold. Thanks for reminding me though.

Making good progress Matt. I'm diggin' the interior. What did you use for the dash itself (sorry I may have missed it)?

Also if you do the OM617 swap I will be jealous. I've been wanting to do that swap since Luke first came out with it.

Hey just letting you know if you rotate your steering box and push it forward you won't have to cut the front support and the box will be plenty far forward. You'll also use a flat pitman arm then. I wish I had a picture of how I did mine but I don't.

Thanks guys, got moved in and lovin the place. The dash is just rustoluem camo paint. And awesome idea on the steering box, i forgot about that!! Ill have a little more progress this weekend i have no interner so itll be off my phone. Pictures may come later.

The beauty of having a reliable daily driver is can build this thing slowly and not have to depend on it yet. Its a keeper for sure. Thanks Blake, its coming together for sure. Yes Sail Blue is my thing haha

So I loaded up the skinner and moved it to my casa, 2 blocks away. I tried backing it in on the trailer but these swivel pieces of garbage called tow dollies blow. So it broke the strap and jumped off. My neighbor happily helped tow it off the dolly with his truck and helped push it in my garage. Its now garaged til its finished. I can work on it rain, snow, shine or not. New deadline is by next spring.

So next week, my cousin is giving me his W59 that had bad bearings. Ill have my 3rz belhousing and some parts for a Wseries. I guess that is one thing less if I decide to go 3rz down the road.

With a long list of things left to still do. I will start with whats left in the engine compartment. I did more today. Whats left you ask?

° Rewire & lengthen the AFM harness to the passenger side
° Hook up the CSI hard fuel line
° Install Air Filter
° Hook up ground wires/straps
° Do a timing kit and adjust valves to Marlin's spec
° Replace the coil/ignitor
° Connect the last few
° Buy & Install Chevy alternator
° Fill coolant & engine oil
° Install clutch and brake hardlines
And I believe thats all before i turn the key over.

Oh no doubt. The suspension, steeeing and interior is what I want though lol nothing new to report really. Waiting to hear back on whether or not im headin east to North Dakota to make some bank and take this project in a new direction.
