Only update is that I removed the ifs pitman arm. Now I have to rotate the box and get that mounted.

soon as i get the new bushings ill remount the springs, get the shims bolted on, and get the steering done, then its onto the engine.

Here is some mock up. I think im golden with this. Time to plate n drill the frame, and get new bushings and mount this bish. (fun part is finding someone to weld it.)

Plate the frame, permanently mount the box, rebuild the axle, install spring shims, lengthen the steering shaft.

Then...Timing, and getting the engine fired up.

Then... Shocks, drivelines, brakes.

Lastly... Interior, lighting and a front bumper.

the cost of living isnt to much higher than other states,
its the laws that I dislike, in the building dept mostly.
if I remember correctly your in Idaho, there building laws are sweet, out in county you only have to pay a one time small fee like 250 to build. to build a house here in my county the inpact fees add up to as much as its gonna cost to build 60% of the house if not more. yall can ride registered 4 wheelers in most small towns.
the gun laws are way better.
I have a buddy whos buying 80 acres with a cabin for 80k
I would consider moving there myself if I didnt have family out here, I just couldnt leave them.

The build is coming along nicely.
I would add, I am a born and raised California dude. I left when I was 31 and have not looked back. The price of housing was an issue but the laws made me feel a bit restrictive, heck outright smothered. Kansas, housing cheep and lots of open ground, not so much redundant laws also, at least what I know of.

Finally found a diagram of the fuel line that I am in need of and found a place that sells the OEM part for $28 shipped.
So if someone can cut me a deal at $15 shipped on a used one, ill gladly take it.

Just picked up a 47" piece of 1/4 x 5" plate to use for plating my frame for the steering box. Cost $12.72

I know its not much of an update,but after I picked up the metal, I stopped and got a few cans of spray painylt. Gloss black rustoluem for rocker panels and high gloss black enamel for the axles n drivetrain parts. That enamel is shiney as hell.

Tonight I am going to make templates for the steering box, as well as the motor mount plates.
Tomorrow, Ill cut out the plates and then its waiting on a welder to weld my stuff up.
