Alright guys, on a completely different note.

Last night was the biggest and most important night of my life.

I took my girl out to dinner at a really nice restaurant, I have to say Wolf Lodge Steakhouse was really good, recommended for sure. Then went to the CDA City Center to the big clock by the resort where I lost all ways to speak and just got on one knee and in a crying voice, Proposed to the most beautiful woman in my life. Never been so happy.. I am now OFFICIALLY engaged.

So my fiancee was rear ended today on her way to work. It looked minor, untill I looked behind the bumper and found the unibody/substructure, had damage.

Could be fixable, or possibly totalled.

18k-24k ish car..... Im guessing not even close to totaled, go to a BUNCH of places and insist on the most expensive estimates and tell them you WILL NOT accept used or aftermarket parts on your brand new car.......

either way, you wont even know it was hit after its fixed

 I got T-Boned on the driver side front wheel about 3 years ago. Bent the frame pretty good on my 4x4 94 GMC 1500. The place I took it too must have really needed work because they put my junk on a frame machine and bent it back. I'm actually lucky because what they would have given me as compensation would have been less then what my truck is worth to me. They would have given me a pack of gum and a red bull for comp on my junk! HAHA
Dont forget to drop the words "depreciated value" of the car to the insurance company! Good luck and hope everyone is alright.

I haven't forgot your 4Runner badges...  I have a day off tomorrow and I am going to see if I can get the paint to stick to the letters this time.  I think it may have just been to cold last time.

Oh yeah and forget ND unless you want to get stabbed and raped by crank head oil guys...  Move to North-Central Montana Brutha!  You can do deisel mech stuff for the farmers and keep the 4Runner! It isn't worth jack in it's current non-going condition you might as well keep it.

I already have a job with CalFrac as a light duty diesel mechanic working for my brutha-in-law. I gotta do what i gotta do and take opportunities when they come my way. I can not turn down $15-20/hr starting pay. Being out of a job and having a family, i cant turn down something like that. I know the risks and having guys in my family who are working there, so i gotta take it, its not my ideal place to go.


On the note of the 4Runner, the Axle, Springs and Shackles went today for $375 and Friday the High Steer sold for $300. I have bills to pay, and that is more important then a play toy in the garage. after i make some money i can get back after it and build it a little better.

Bank some cash
Take banked cash and use for down payment
Use down payment and better gross pay for new truck.
Get rid of the POS Ford
Get into 2005+ Toyota Tacoma Double Cab TRD.

I have no need for a little car anymore and need a truck, so if im going to have payment, it better be on the vehicle i actually friggen want.
