Yes he is right..... key is clean metal surface and good penetration
do 6 leafs it will be alot better.Ive fumbled around with 3 4 5 6 7 8 and 6 is the perfect medium
yes 4 will flatten out way to quick, yes and cut them all down
I'm running 4 with an overload and they've held up well. One spring if a Cherokee lift spring though so it's a little stiffer.
for what its worth i used to run a 7 leaf pack up front and it was killer especially for go fast and they flexed nicely aswell

I voted 36 iroks. But I tend to lean towards smaller tires anyway. The military tires are a good cheap option, but I know a few people that ran them on the street and were not stoked with them. Pretty hard tires too.
