Topic: THK's 86 4Skinner Build-Up (My Fiancee was hit in my '12 Focus Today)

So for those looking for a build thread, ill do my best.

This is an 1986 Toyota 4Runner DLX.
It came factory with a 22RE and W56. (which were pulled prior to the purchase)
I was given an 83 solid front axle (complete) thanks mudfanatic92
Going to us 48in RUF mixed with another set of 48in'ers.
the rear ill 2-3in blocks and a longer shackle (until i can figure out exactly which spring setup I want to run)
35-39.5s tires
high steer
5.29s
lockers
armor
winch
ifs hub conv, taco rotors and ifs calipers up front
85 rear disks, rotors and a line lock or driveline e brake
maybe another 22RE and W56 or a 3.4L/3RZ if i can find a wrecked tacoma/4runner.
otherwise, that's all I can think of so far.

the parts ad i used to contact the guy about having a complete runner n frame..... was for an 89. he has TONS of yota stuff.
It is indeed an 86.

Its basically totally complete, minus the engine, trans, tcase and exhaust. wont take much to get this thing going.

You can see on the second to last pic that there is an axle in front of the yota... I scored that while we were there along with v6 calipers and a MC/booster combo!

so ill be putting together a list for him.

most the stuff I'll get free or next to nothing.
I'm stoked to do this and I can finally build it and not have to worry about it being my only vehicle.

Its plug and play for me just about LOL I have done WAY too many of these things.
I have lots of wiring to redo. lots of was cut... to make "scraping" easier, as well as some backwoods oaky doke "fixes" for faulty switches.
But I will have that done in no time at all.

I actually have a reliable DD now, so im not pushed to get it done or sell it to by something to drive.
so if something goes wrong or whatever. i know i still have another car to drive. :]

Well after work I went out to my "shop" and began to clean out the inside more, shop vac'd it and began putting the dash in and what not. figuring out the wiring and what i may need.

Good luck making the bench work if you run duals. I had to cut my bench up so much. I was going to run triple sticks but couldn't justify it.

I have a dogleg shifter for a single case though.
It'll be nice while i have it.
