Who are you having do reupholstery? Only place I found wanted $160 to replace 2 panels on a bucket seat

im not having anyone do it? i tore the covers on the rear seats cause custom mounts had to be made to adapt the 90-95 4runner rear seats. so to keep them from catching fire... they were tore down to the frames. i then had to "re-upholster" them once done lol

Well, being as I am awaiting some hardware to arrive. Here is a little progress.

I bought some paint and painters tape last night, I taped up and painted the driver door finally in blue and the upper frames on the doors, A & B pillars, and the roof black and have the cowl cover drying in blue. as well as a teaser of the shackles, I should have done tonight. I also bought some wire connecters to fix the wires that were cut in my cab. to progress.

So the stock wheelbase is 103" and I am sitting at 109". 6in of stretch.

LOL just the stock 86 driveline hanging there, ill be running a square DL until I can get the funds to have a fully balanced long slip made.
I just got the rear 6in shackles put on the back. it sits level, but damn its tall! lol Oh well I kinda like the tall thing. its not monster/hawaiian style but its no lowrider. looks good. Im sittin at 6in of overall suspension lift both F/R.

6in aint that bad just put the right size tires on it will will be good to go and looks clean! i liked my truck at 6in but it was to tall for me but looked good. now im down to about 4in

very true its set up for 35s and up. anything smaller looks goofy. which works out because 37s are what I plan to buy new.

I think it balances ir well and doesnt make the top look misplaced with a random black top. lol

and also, the bolts from TGMaul88 arrived today. Thanks bro, you're the man. I have a cold start injector hardline coming the 31st.
Which is perfect timing when Ill be moving into a new place

Well pulled the 4Skinner out of the gate and taped the rockers out and starting spraying them in gloss black and ran out of paint midway through. But holy smokes does it calm down that bright ass blue and actually makes it look kickass. Also with it out of the gate, man does it look tall. Oh and I installed my 3' CB Firesticks. I have desided to run the front clip as is, until I can save up some cash to do the Tacoma clip swap. I am moving into a new place next weekend and money will be tight so progress might slow down for a while. waitin on the hardline for the cold start injector still.
