I just sorted out and hacked away what I need from my wiring harness. ONce you get down to it and are in the zone it really is not that complicated, you only end up using like a third or less of those wires and two relays

NICE! I can't wait to get the LPG on my small block. Maybe before the snow run.

Yep I cant wait... Im so stoked. I went outisde and pulled the intake apart and looked inside, it was so dirty and foul I cant believe it. Its going to need a lot of cleaning. So Im going to get to that tomorrow. Then comes the wires. I need to go buy an 84 celica car manual. Anyone know of a Chilton will do it?

And heres some more pics. Pic of everything apart and all the wires in crap stuffed full in that plastic box.

and even though it was dirty dirrrrty dirrrty it ran perfect when it was on that motor  even with bad gas   :yikes:   id try and find a full service manual  if you can.. or like a super shop manual.. dunno if a chilton would go in depth enough  but maybe enough for some of the basic stuff.

when i did my engine swap, of course it was a straight 22r to 22r, the chilton manual was jsut fine......

It works predy good last year my truck sat for like 3 months and it started right up with that battery no issues and I had been using the radio the whole time off and on when I was working on my truck.

22r to 22re is totally different.  and the chilton manual will probably not be enough.  theres a ton more wiring to do.

Check EBAY. I've seen a lot of used Factory Service Manuals going for the price of new Chiltons if not less.

The chiltons does have a wiring diagram in the back pages in the electrical section.

maybe ill go to kragen or wherever and look at the diagram and see if its good. I foudn some on Ebay and they were for 82s and there was an 86 FSM. I need one soon so I can get to the wiring.

For reference, "83 and '84 Celica EFI wiring is the same. '85 EFI is different but it is the same as the '85 truck(body wiring is completely different).  I have an '84 FSM that I'm copying the Wiring diagrams and EFI sections to go along with my '83 setup when i sell it. I can make you an extra set for the price of copies and postage if you want.

KYOTA FOREVER

lilbuddy

Got a new head today. It has a LCE Stage 2 cam, LCE Adjustable cam gear, over size valves and doesnt have too many miles. The rest of it is bad so im just using the head (the shop that built it put in the wrong pistons and it only has 125psi in all 4). I could rebuild it but money doesnt allow...

I also finally got the throttle body, lower intake and the plenum spotless. It took a lot of tooth brush action along with a lot of carb cleaner. Pics tomorrow after wheelin

So I got the wiring harness done!!! Thanks to toyoder he gave me the best link ever to finish the harness. For a while I almost stopped and said screw it, but I saw the light and I finished it. I ordered a Toyota head gasket and intake gasket and they should be here Friday so I am hoping that on Monday that I can put on my new head. So here is also the reason I have been held back on doing my EFI. Surgury on my little finger on my right hand. Cant really see it but I have 5 stitches aboce and my grandma (ex nurse) things there is 5 stitches under the skin as well. Well, heres some pics of my finger and finished EFI harness/ECU. Oh here is my walmart 7$ rock crawler with a 8$ RC car body on it. Im happy with it.

I like how you keep going with this, lots of guys are afraid to do stuff if they dont know, it seems if you want something done, you will find a way to get it done. Hope to wheel with you soon.
