Hey guys,

We've been busy redesigning our Rock Sliders -- what do ya think?!

Key improvements:
  • 4 cross braces instead of 3
  • 4 frame tubes instead of 3
  • Frame scab plates to spread the load
  • Extra long gussets for increased rigidity
  • Awesome Turtle cutout that doubles as a Step Plate and increased structural support where it's needed the most (when you drop off that huge ledge with the front tire!)

The added 4th cross brace will alone provide at least 25% more side impact load than compared to our old design (only had 3 braces), and the same applies at the frame as we are using four frame tubes to connect the slider instead of only 3. I plan to do computer analysis to get a pretty good idea of just how much stronger this design is. It is the strongest rock slider of this design to hit the market!

Price will be $199 for a pair of sliders, and will include 8 frame scab plates, 8 frame tubes, and 8 extra long gussets.

Here is a close up of the Turtle Step Plate:

So.... whatcha think! :hyper:  :turtle:

More good news guys!

We want to kick these bad boys off with a Thanksgiving introductory sale price of 10% off! I am still in the progress of updating the product page, but here it is, we've got all three sizes (58", 68", and 78") ready for sale now: http://www.marlincrawler.com/armor/side/rock-slider

Right now the plates are only available on the sliders. No talk just yet if the plate will be available as a builder part

I was wondering the same thing. Those would be awesome as a builder part. Maybe in different sizes as well for cage gussets and other project detailing.  :smokin:

Those look great!!! I'll pass on the word, I'd buy em if I didn't already have the others.
