You need to do a search for SAS swaps.. there are countless threads on it... Everything you could possibly want to know! You can buy a full kit with everything you need through All-Pro or trail-gear. And if you want to make your own kit you can do that and just use the parts lists from the kit sellers to know what you will need. Also... either of the kits you buy will have instructions on how to install.

But best thing to do is search and read.

It is a lot of info if you are new to this type of thing. If you are like me you have to see things and start working on it to understand what people are talking about in a forum or thread. There are a lot of great wright ups on this board and pirate so read read read.

Where are ya from?

I did an SAS on my runner only buying parts that I did not want to make. I think that I will just buy the kit from now on because it took to long because of all the modifications. The best price I have found a full SAS kit is http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/index.php/yotamain/4runner/suspension-kits.html
I have access to a full machine shop and will buy the kit next time.

I bought a kit.  One thing i wish i would of done was make sure the company I bought the kit from had all the parts in stock ready to be shipped before I began tearing the front of my truck apart.  I wont mention who i bought my kit from, but i got the hangers and most everything else shipped to my house.  The only thing missing was the leaf springs.  When i called the to see when i would get the rest of the kit they said the springs where on back order but they would be in and shipped to me within a week.  So i started to tear the IFS out.  Needless to i day the leaf springs ended up being back ordered for six weeks.  So my truck sat on Jack stands that whole time.  It was very upsetting!! :tantrum:

I think everyone knows where you bought your kit, and I know that it seems like there parts are always back ordered. I like lowrangeoffroad because they are about 40 miles and they always have everthing I need in stock for great prices. I have never had to have anything shipped so that might be a different story but there customer service is great. I have also purchased parts through http://hybridracingllc.com , and the owner Steve will work with you on the price if you spend a lot like a SAS kit. Just give him a call. I am aware that these companies only sale TG, but I am all about price and functionality. I have TG parts on my rig and have not had any problem with them.
