Quick Piston/Rod question

I am startin on the assembly of my 22r and I was wonderin if there was a special way to set the rods and pistons together

YES! I just got home from work and I'm groggy so I can't give you details right now.

There is a mark on the piston that has to face the front of the engine and the rod has to go a certain way also. Do a search and make sure you do it right.

pistons have a notch on the front and the rod has a bump on the front side just above the bottom journal :thumbs:

almost any type of manual would tell you that, if you're attempting to assemble an engine you NEED to buy a manual.

Ive done it before but it was a while ago and I forgot. I did figure it out though. Got it running and it runs amazing now

pretty easy to do, make sure same rods go in same spot they came from,a nd pistons go in facing right way. Lightly grease bearings before install. Its pretty striaghtforward
