Ok, so i'm putting a locker in the rear.

I want to be able to run in 2 low with out getting the twin stick yet.

Can you leave the front hubs unlocked and put it in 4 low so it would act as 2 low without damage?

BUBBA

yeah as long as ur not trying to run down the highway at 60mph

Might want to grease your hubs a little more often, and definitely keep it slow.

On the other hand, the ifs rigs with the ADD system were always spinning one axle against the hub, even at highway speeds?

It would be only on the trail, and deffinetly slow, like 1st gear low.

Yes you can. just don't do any thing silly like try to pull a tralier up a hill fast or you mite tiwst an axle. :-\\

Ya, I do it. I'll tear into a trail in 4-Lo with the hubs unlocked as far as I can possibly go, then I'll lock em if I have to. Mostly because I'm too lazy and I like to see what I can do with the rear only. I wouldn't be jumping in and out, locking and unlocking the hubs just to have 2-Lo though. Kind of a pain in the ass... :slap:

Get a twin shifter, and you can use the low range without engaging 4WD.
