hey josh, sierra trek i think is either this week or next.  they lower the flow rate at the dam at fordyce for that weekend.  just a little info if your still thinking fordyce.  My plans changed from fordyce to rubicon now.  but even thats still up in the air.  who know's we might end up at dusy.  i'll let you know though.

Sierra trek is 13-14th weekend but they normally do a 2 week slow down.  I just dont know if its gonna be 2 weeks this year with all the run off.
Ill do either con or dusy.  Tomorrow I am gonna go get my rear drive shaft made.  That should be the last thing I need to do before I can wheel again.
I would like to do dusy more then con since ive never been there, its a longer trail and im sure it wont be as crowded as the con.

Dusey should be opened the 13th if the water is dried up more on the low spots Fresno member @1164... just spoke to trail chairman and thats what he says...still up to forest service.
Thanks for the info !! It helps a ton.  Gonna have to wait and see if it really is gonna be open on the 13th.

Was up on the dusy a week ago and walked along the trail by courtright resevore and there is a ton of trees down.  I believe I counted 6-7 in approx a mile of the trail.  The trail was pretty dry but still had some wet spots.

The trail is clear from White Bark to Courtright. There were 105 trees cleared end to end. There are 2 Toilets to put in at Ershim and the trail still has a little drying out to do. From what the FS OHV rep said, he wants to hold off opening until the toilets are complete. From the chatter I've heard elsewhere, the 13th sounds feasible.  :driving:

Anyone know if it open or not? Expected open date? 4wdFresno site hasn't been updated.

Ershim is still closed but may be open by next Friday. There are still a few things being done on the trail but it is close from what I've heard.
