Dump the girl, build the truck, drive the built truck to find a new girl. You should have no problem finding a chick who likes to wheel and likes toyotas if you drive it around plenty. Thats how we do out here in CO anyway lol.

I would kinda also like to her the girlfriends side to this as well, since there's always two sides of course. Example being "We are getting evicted because we didn't have enough to pay the rent this month because you bought new axels!!!"

In a case like that...yeah...you may want to rethink your priorities at this point. But from just your question...get rid of girlfriend. Find a chick into wheelin!

My wife is 5 yrs older than me and it was never an issue, she doesn't try to control me and I don't mess with her. What it boils down to is respecting each other and that everyone is different and has different desires. Plus by being able to get along and do the things she likes and visa versa you get both ends. My wife loves D-land and I could care less but we generally go once a week. Right now camping and wheeling is kinda not happening but if I loaded the camper tomorrow and packed the wheeler we'd be off.

my wife doesn't like wheeling, but she wont stop me from doing it, and she has no desire to..... she loves me, and knows a big part of me is trucks..... i have friends i can go wheeling with..... well, if i had a truck, but that's anotehr story.... and i will deal with that when i get back to the states

also, she is 8 years older than me, and had her goals and stuff set long before she met me.... this year, i will be spending our 4th wedding anniversary, in afghanistan, without her.....
