I got 1990 yota short bed and i want to find out the pros and cons of bobbing the bed and how much to cut out of the bed

this is what i got 63's  stock location  with a dual shackles

pros you will get a better depart angle. cons you have to make it look good. cut further back on the back part to at least get some of the rib so you can get it to line up and look better. measure 10 times cut 1 time. i have a super short bob, and 63s with my shackles right at the end of the frame kinda sucks.

I think if you are asking what the pros and cons of a bobed bed are  ? chances are you do not need to do it  :hammerhead:

cons, makes the truck look a little odd without a camper. IMO

I cut 14" out of mine.   You have to cut the frame all the way back to the rear shackle mounts and even then you can only get 12"  I just cut holes in the rear valance and let the frame poke out the back. 










YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
