Bobbing bed?

 Can i bob my 85 x-cab bed past the shackles? What tools are necassary? Thanks. :beerchug:

Sure you can but why would you want to bob it past the shackles?
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Yeah what W/T said, bobbing it past the shackels as no sence unles you're four linking the rear.

i bobbed the bed on my 84 18".  That was short enough that I had to cut the rear valance for the frame to come through.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

it would be ok if you cut at the shackels since it will no more be your bumper sticking out to far but your shackel.

 Okay thanks guys i wont cut it past the shackles i just thought i could weld them back on once iam done cutting to make the bed even shorter. BUt i guess it doesnt work like that oh well i will just cut it at the shackle thanks again. :beerchug:
