A group of us are going up both saturday and sunday. Im going up on Sunday which should be interesting with the forcasted snow fall.

We had some stock trucks with chains that would not make it past the pilons so, thats as far as we made it.

Never saw the Fresno club!!  I didnt even make it to the trail head. was still fun, there was alot of snow, luckly there were some very setup rigs to help.

Didn't make the trail head?  Really?  Cool hope the snow holds up for two more weeks.  thats when we are planning to go up.  Last time we went the area just before the pilons was pretty tore up and deep.  Most were winching from the a tree to get past the two trees.

If I remember correctly there is enough room on one side of the road to park a car trailer, or am I mistaken. Has anyone been hassled for leaving a trailer there for the day? Im prettty sure i also remeber an area large enough to whip a uturn nearby as well with a trailer.

Theres plenty of room for parking a car hauler all day. Theres usually a couple parked right on the side of dinkey creek rd.

If you don't have enough room at Rock Creek to turn around you should have plenty at the Wishon/Courtright turn off a few miles down the road.

Did anyone go up this last weekend?  I'm going up this weekend and was wondering what conditions to expect.  They might get some snow above 8000ft but I wonder what the trip up to that point will be like.

i'm sure there wasnt very much snow up there. We had a hot week an this week is warm too. Heck It was 96 in jose basin on sunday.

1-2' at Edison lake, so maybe some snow hiding under a tree?
