your in CA? It was easier to SMOG my truck than try to green sticker it. DMV is worthless.
you can duel register it too to have both a green sticker and plates as well
I've been lagging on doing this to my truck, I paid all fees and decided on not trying to smog, knowing it would not pass. I'll check with my step mom she works at the DMV.
Does green stickered mean that a vehicle can't be driven on the road?Wouldn't that be easier to register than something going on road? I mean no insurance requirements, no emissions, etc.Keep in mind I'm from out of state...so, I'm not used to y'alls gubmint rules.
i had to green sticker my 82' and it was kind of a pita because dmv is ignorant but someone already posted it.. Just tell them you want to do a dual registration, doesn't cost any extra and every two years you just gotta get a new sticker like any other offroad vehicle.
So what about insurance and that kind of thing?Do you non-op the street part and then only use the offroad tag?
