Ok I have a 22re out of a gen 3 89. I pulled the efi and I want to put it in my gen 1 83 with 20r that blew the motor. pulled the intake off the gen 1 20r and want to put it on the 22re for a future propane set up. but I just want the gen 1 to run right now with the carb.can I use this 20r intake on my 22re motor or do I need a 22r intake?

RIP KYOTA

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

I don't believe the 20r intake will match up to the 22re head...
