I dont think they make a Pane kit for EFI :headscratch:

it says they do on gotpropane.com

taken from their website:

22RE kits.
We now have a kit designed to use the E.F.I. engine. They are designed to run propane only. Lose that smashed up gas tank and poor driveability due to faulty sensors and old wiring with bad connections. It requires a carbureted distributor and ignition coil. It retains the stock intake manifold and throttle cables. It is designed to remove all of the efi wiring and sensors related to gasoline, resulting in two wires reqiured to power the engine!

according to that description, it sounds like you are basically turning a 22re into a carbed 22r

well i got a new motor for my truck and it came w/ an efi manifold that was running on propane so i was thinking instead of buying the carb kit i would by the EFI one just cause it would look cooler haha just wanted to see how it is setup

I like the 22re kit because it keeps things lower.... Out of my line of sight, and not as easily damaged in a roll over.  The kit is very simple to set up, any question I had,, I just called Carey and he was eager to help.  I don't have any more pics right now, I would take some for ya but I have my rig torn down for a rebuild right now.

On the firewall .

this may or may not be a dumb question but ima ask it anyway... when hooking up the propane kit to the EFI what do you do with the Injectors? do you just run the same ones that you didwhen you were running gas or do you gotta get some special kind??? im just thinking of buy a propane kit when i get my tax's back this year....

toyotanner

you plug off the injector ports. the propane goes straight in the manifold.
