You're over comlicating it. Pull the tranny, pull the clutch/flywheel, pull the cover, replace seal, replace cover gasket, re-install flywheel/clutch, re-install tranny = no leaky
Wo pull main caps huh, nah wat these guys sed is wat ya do
From my experience Ive had alot better luck just pulling the oil pan & main seal housing off while you are there and replacing those gaskets as well. then when you reinstall it you just lube up the seal and slide it over the crank nice and easy then bolt the housing back onto the block! just a thought since you are alllllll the way in there, better to do it right
