the way i see it is my rig is trail only and mostly on my own privite property.  so i can leave it sit for a day or so if they dont work out at first.  plus any more artictulation i can get out of a leaf sprung set up is a plus.

in that pic yotatough posted. the locking pin to lock themfrom pivoting. is that just a bolt that runs through the leaf mounts and into a threaded collar?

looks that way I have the pivot blocks also and they are awesome but not street friendly for my Runner due to weight, but I actually drove MINI's truck back from the Con at 70 MPH and had 0 issues

I dont think its even threaded.. i think it just sits in there to make sure that little block doesnt fall out? correct me if im wrong

was minis's locked down during the road portion? and i think a threaded sleve on either side of the block with bolts or eve a sleve with a hole and a pin and cotter key would secure them from pivoting on the road.

and how about this on the front? may have to run a panhard to keep the steering in check?

no MINI has no stops on his at all and drives it on the road with no problems, but he has a flat bed and little weight too so draw your own conclusion
