Pivot Block Install.
« on: Aug 08, 2008, 07:21:13 AM »
So i finally got my pivot blocks and got around to installing them. I built some lock out tabs for them that i'll run a bolt through and adjust the bolt down to hold tension on my axle. They seem to work well, except now I have so much flex that my rear tires rub the frame at full stuff.

The top two flex pic's are before pics, and the rest are after.
Now I just need to work on the stinkbug stance, my rear end is 2.5" higher than my front.

You gotta lift the front! not the rear.
Hard to compare different flex situations...

I did the front as well, however the pics are very dark and look like poo. It still doesn't flex as good as yours mini. Maybe when I get the 2" bs wheels.

yep ran them, one I needed to lower the runner and 2 they allowed too much body roll on a daily driver with 63 chevies. So I now am 4 linked and stable!

4 link, mmmmmm that sounds nice.
I hope once I put the lock out bolt in that my body roll problem will disappear.

4 Link is great, less body roll, wheel hop and there is the cool factor!
Lock out is definately needed with swivel perches. Did GREAT on the trail but with a cross wind on a 2 lane road at 70mph, I almost lost controll and went off the road with the body roll....
