hey guys.  as of right now we don't have anyone opening up shop anymore on tuesday's.  if anyone wants to volunteer to open up, it would be great.  i'm currently trying to find someone to take over.  i thought it would work with me being out of town but it's not.  if anyone wants to step up or know's of anyone, please let me know asap.  i'll keep everyone posted on what happens.

hey guys i know i only came to a few meetings last year but a buddy of mine just bought a jeep. we were thinkin of soing the black gulch trail from 178 to rancheria and maby camping half way on saturday. anyone have any good info on the trail? Or anyone down for a trip?

I just got a call from Church member saying that he got a phone call that our club shop was broken into. from the sounds of it, as far as I know right now, they took the tubing bender, the welders and plasma are all gone. Also hand, power and air tools. Someone saw a black/dark  jeep cherokee leaving the shop around 5PM yesterday, 12-21-2011. I'm trying to find out more details at the moment of the jeep and if it was lifted, stock, etc. they also said that the tools looked like they had been rumaged through, so not sure whats missing yet. Please if anyone has any information on this let me know or call Bakersfield Police Department at 661-327-7111 or me at 805-215-3437. I'm going to get a reward together for any information leading to the theives that broke in. It was obviously someone who knew about the shop, so think of who you know in Bakersfield that drives a black/dark cherokee. For those of you who don't know, our shop program is sponsered by our church, Hillcrest SDA Church in Bakersfield, and the shop is on the school grounds. Please keep an eye out and keep me posted if you hear of anything. (superyota)

i guess i should have gone by there last weekend and grabbed my box while it was still there.  oh well.  i'm not worried about old parts.  shoulda coulda woulda.

thanks.  i can't get on pirate from my work computer.  pirates got a link tracker on it that pop ups as a virus on our work computers.  ask me how i know.  i posted it up on craigslist also under tools and under auto parts.  i'm have way tempted to call the tv station and see if they would be interested in running a story on it.  we have done alot the past couple of years.  i think it would be worth a shot.

Man this sucks. I wish you the best of luck. I HATE people that feel they can go in and take stuff that is not theirs just because they know where it is. Hearing stuff like this PISSES me off. people like this deserve to be beat by the tools they stole. Sorry just makes me mad. It has happened to me also. Not as big, but I feel just as bad. Its even worse that it is most likely someone in the group knows.
