Im going to try to find a leaf to use as an add a leaf lift spring to add to my Ruf's since they sagged so much, Hopefully i can find something that will work good so i dont have to drop some $$ on some new springs...

Tonight i swapped my third member into the ifs rear axle and put in new axle seals.

reset the back lash on the ring and pinion since it was out of adjustment a little bit.

so tomorrow ill install the ifs axle on the runner

I haven't posted any recent updates lately. Due to being strapped on funds, After installing hi-steer, new front hanger and a bunch of other stuff. I decided to keep running the 3" downey front springs and threw in an add a leaf in. The RUF downeys couldn't hold the weight and went flat under load, so that was a no go.

Got the 63's installed with double shackle set up, and installed an IFS rear axle and a FJ80 master cylinder.

So now all i need is 1.5" front wheel spacers and some shocks. Also After i get across some more cash Im going to ditch the 33's and run 35's unless i get a good deal on 37's

Sweet Runner Jon and good looking dog man.  :beerchug:

Cool idea with the delrun for dampening the rear shackle. Its so freakin' loud without anything in there. I used IFS bumpstops but the derlin saves a lot more space.

Got some used but new to me, 36" IROK'S, now it doesn't look like a match box car with 33's anymore.. lol

I went to walmart and bought some .20 gram weight 6mm airsoft pellets to put in the tires for balancing since the iroks are bias ply..

i put 10 ounces in each tire and the tires self balance perfectly fine but i notice i have a slight wobble between 35-38 mph but balances out right away.

I need to get 1-1/2" wheel spacers for the front. Not only to match the width of the IFS rear axle but with the new iroks i am barley rubbing my tires on the leafs... Atleast is will save my birfs for the mean time... lol

Yeah I designed my lift around 35-37 so I think at the most I'm gonna need to trim my front bumper or possible cave in and buy front wheel spacers (Been a cheap ass and had a 3" wider rear end for the last 5 years lol). Otherwise I think I will be good. We'll see though.

I thought I would post some photos of my progress tonight on my half doors.

I am building these half doors to run door panels.

I dont have access to a large enough of a break to bend a 90* bend so what i did was i welded a strip to the inside of the panel to have a straight edge that the door panel will sit nice and flush against.
I am going to drill holes to install the factory panel clips onto the welded strip so the panel doesnt flop around.

Im going to finish up the first door tomorrow morning.

Getting it all tacked before fully welding it.

Drilled and spot welded the strip to the high points of the door panel.

You mean door handles?
I'm mounting the door handle on the inside of the door panel.

That is just the tires, I had 36" iroks and no matter what I did I couldn't get it to go away. It gets wayyyyy worse as they get worm out... I know a few other people that had the same tires and they had the same problem.
