That front end is pretty sweet....  Did you buy it off someone? and then mod your front clip for it?

It is 1 3/8 round bar with a 9/16's hole drilled in it.

Did you come up with that on your own or did you see it somewhere else?  PDS though, I may have to steal it if I ever upgrade my axles,  plus when you need to work on the rear end it holds the diff cover out of the dirt...

Nice work on that rear cover.  Very original...I've never seen that. :beerchug:

Hyena

I have seen one other that is similar but not exactly like it.  but they had used a bushing.  i drill 1 3/8's round bar all the time at work so the idea was in my head already i guess.

Doof

what are you welding with?? in the 2nd pic, that is a clean bead

kinda looks like tig but i doubt you would want to squeeze a tig in there...but then again who knows

Hyena

It is a Lincoln 170 (220) with .035 flux core.  burns pretty hot for a little welder.

Doof

wow...touche on the weld skills then

Hyena

Thanx! that what i do everyday at work.  I am sure they would look better if i had gas instead of flux core.  but i use what i have.

Doof

i hear that... at work i have access to every weld type known to man basically. but here i have a stick welder that is bling when im not in a rush.... welp im out peace easy and good luck with the rest of the build

Austin W

your fab work is lookin good. i like the idea with the dif cover

Yota4life

i'll go in halfway on a gas line and regulator for that welder if you want since it is mine and some day i'll be taking it back

toy4x4ota

my roomate has that welder and that is what we both used for a lot of the welding we did and it works great.
