Where do you live that you get hassled for that? You got flaps and not super wide.

My tires stick out about a little over half an inch and I have been cited for mud flaps and fender flares twice. At least in the CA vehicle code its a gray area, and they use that to ticket people. I just run mudflaps though, screw fender flares.

Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:

I digress. I intended this as a thread for people to show their daily driven wheelers and changed the title to reflect that.

I moved from cali 5 years ago. I drive past the cop shop 2 times each day in my runner and previously in my Jeep with no fenders on the front and never had an issue. It's a shame how stiff the police and gov't are now down there cause it's beautiful but I finally had to bounce.
PS. In Idaho, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, and other free states it is a citizens right to be able to obtain a concealed weapons permit as long as you are not a felon. Try to get one in Ca. as a private citizen. Kinda rambling but I felt I had to leave.

Thanks axled,  thanks goofster.  I have to be completely honest.  The picture makes it look a lot better than it is for some reason.  :dunno: I definetely try to take care of it the best I can, but it's got a long way to go.   :shake_head: When I bought it, it already had the lift.  The rear has almost 5 inch blocks, so I'm gonna do the f150 spring swap.  The front looks like they have put the old All Pro Setup.  I'm gonna switch back to the 20r header, and I already have a 22r carb with the LCE plate.  Just need some time to do it.  The Offy needs too much rev to get anything out of it, and i definetely would not recomended it for wheeling.

20R header??  if a "header"  then good call but if your going to put the stock 20R exhaust manifold back on DONT because it will restrict what youre doing by going to the 22R carb

if not a header use the stock 22R exhaust,

Thanks for the correction and the input Glen.  I meant to say 20r intake manifold.   So before I put the 22r carb/20r intake, I need to get at least a 22r exhaust manifold on for me to actually gain from the mod?

Thanks 83,  Our color seems to be popular on this board.  Thanks again for the sweet deal on the power steering stuff

79coyotefrg

yea the 20R exhaust manifold is very restrictive,  a 22R manifold will bolt up and flows better

??? you had a 22R intake on a 20R ?

Nope,  I currently have an Offy w/ a motorcraft carb  on the 20r.   This is the setup that came with the truck when I bought it. I have collected a 22r carb, LCE adapter plate, and a 20r intake that I plan to put in.
