83 Jdm as flop build, ditched the 88

just weld a small piece of chain from the motor mount to the frame so they cant over-extend and you wont have to worry about breaking motor mounts anymore!

yeah that is!!!!! got some progress done this weekend... got the cases bolted up and floor cut... next weekend finish cross member build front driveline, put bed on and lower it 4''

boomerangs in the front will drop it a ton cause he has like 6" lift shackles and boomerangs are 1" Also the rear were going to take some springs out of the pack and the bed wieghs more than the flat bed did so it should get it to compress teh springs a little more. If not were going to move the shackle mount forwards to get a better angle and lower it some.

hell ya man... you could always re-pack your springs and remove a leaf or 2 to lower the ride height...

Very nice im plannin on removin some more springs from my rear packs as soon as i move my gas tank more towards the center of my rig. You guys should take before and after shots of the front when you do the boomerang shackles I'd like to see that.  :biggthumpup:

i will take some before and afters for sure.... shackles should be here tomorrow from sky mfg... hopefully it gets alot lower cause its deff monster truck status right now

we got the duals in, cross member 90% complete just gotta brace it some..

fuel tank mounted in bed
lowered rear about 2''
dropped drive line off at driveline tech today

still gotta weld on f&r diff armor
make front driveline
and get some bigger tires

yeah in the pictures it looks close but in person its a completly diff blue.... bed is getting bobbed probably 15'' then truck is getting sprayed in a booth white and im going to run pink bead lock rings and high steer arms with a black hood... flame away anyone is going to be out of the ordinary

i have never had so much trouble getting a bed somewhere, getting pinned with my head hitting garage door thingy, falling over :pokinit:, burning out over parts haha

it will be bobbed not this weekend but next... everything should be buttoned up this friday and be wheelin the rock pit on some 39.5's if driveline tech gets it done this week....

Goodluck on the driveline. I took my front  there last monday... still waitin. He said there was a shortage of thickwall tubing. I think its in, but he mighta been backed up casue he didnt have any for a while.

P.S. what'd you do with the flatbed?
