so uh, deff was the caster, We decided that since we lowered the rear it made the front rake up more than it was before. Also the coopers wouldnt wobble and the tsls wobble either way plus his tie rod ends are toast. He put the boomerangs on last night and it lifted the pinion angle up atleast 2"s Im not sure it if lowerd the truck that much but we drove it and it just gets the usuall bias death wobble at some speeds.

I kinda thought that was the cause of the death wobble. So is she ready to roll for the tenth? besides bobbin the bed?

Hey, I've been reading through your thread. Thought I'd check in. I live in Milwaukie, and I'm always looking for people to wheel with.

I have an 85 truck with 4" Marlin springs and hysteer, 35's, 529 gears, detroits. I just picked a 2nd top shift case, so I'll be doing duals soon.

Carry on...

Wow! I thought I'd seen a few other yota's around here.

Yeah! I drive it on the road. No fancy tow rig for me.

First time I took it on a road trip up to Naches, I got busted for no mud flaps by a Fish and Wildlife guy. He threatened to write me up for a bunch of other stuff too. It sucked cuz it's a $130 ticket in Washington  :o

89sastoyo

thats crazy though.. Where abouts where gonna have to go wheelin. Have you lived here for a while?? Have you wheeled at goat before?? I think were going up there this weekend. Like saturday I believe.

I've lived in Milwaukie for a year and a half. I have a house off River Rd. in Oak Grove with a garage (best part of having a house!)

No. I haven't been to Goat Mtn. I would be up for a run on Saturday. There should be snow up there, with the weather we've been having, huh?

I would like to see how your guy's dual cases are set up. So Drive Line Tech came through for you guys? I know I'll need new u-joints. Mine are sloppy. I'd like to stick with Toyota u-joints.

89sastoyo

crazy, My buddy lived off river road and we worked on his truck at his house everyday all summer last summmer lol. But yeah it is all toyota u joints the driveline itself is just a lot beefier and can withstand a beating. And there should be snow matts giong up tonight so he'll know lol

Ryan you heard wronggggg. I had them aired down to 2 psi like straight diffin out on the pavement and I plowed snow up to my hoood.

Matt if you are ever not satisfied with those tires drop them to like 4 in the rear and 5 in the front. After you air down past ten just 1 pound makes the world of difference.
