Here is a few more pics of just the damage I did to my truck.  Nothing big time bad.  Just the drive shaft issue keeping me from making it home today.

This is why friends dont let friends drive the Rubicon on 31's  :hammer:

I had great time guys!!!
Thanks to Darrel and pat I was pulled out of a tight spot.  I didnt get many pics since I was pretty much running solo the whole trail.  Towards the end on the down hill before the springs I got to watch darrel and his beast of a ford bronco with 47s run over rocks bigger then my truck.  Yes darrel picking on you is well turned out to be pretty fun.  btw darrel is 12volt guy which was funny since I didnt know that till we were doing the raffle.
Anyhow I am pretty damn sore since working that trail on 31s and keeping my truck in one piece was a chore.  Got a few dings and scrapes but overall the only damage I am worried bout is the rear drive line.   I am in Tahoe still at my folks place debating if I should pull the rear drive line and try make it home on the front or not.  Its dinged in 3 spots.  Damn those rocks !!!!!!!!!   :moon: :scared: :turtle:

BTW Darrel is a crazy sucker !!! he basically jumped his bronco off some big rocks.   :conf: :yikes:

Good to meet you Crazy Kooter...  Did you have a tough time on Cadillac?  Oh  his name is Darren:D

Well, we got home at 8pm. Actually got off the trail at 4 :woohoo: Like snowshoebrue, it's the earliest we've ever been off the trail. Everything's unloaded and we're waiting till tomorrow to unpack everything. Time to get a :bath: and sit on the comp and post some :snapshot:

It was great to meet new folks! The roundup was an AWESOME success. YELLER, we're totally bummed you couldn't make it :rivers: Blingn busted a driveline (rear) and didn't have a spare, so BigBird and some other awesome folks stopped by to help us. BigBird happened to have a readywelder, so between about 4 rigs, we came up with a few washers that were used to weld the driveline back in tact. Excellent work! It got us from Buck to the Springs and back to Loon with no issues :woohoo:

As far as I know, right now germ is driving Blackdog and some other folks to the Loon trailhead so they can get their tow rigs and go get their rigs at Cadillac. Blackdog had a rough time this weekend from what I hear.

I saw Marlin and BirdDog driving through Sacramento on my way home, so they're safely off the trail and on their way home.

I got to ride in and out with BigBird from Canada - GREAT GUY! Thanks again for your help with Matt's driveline :smooch:

Further info/pics later!

Yessss we saw them today on our way out. They were coming down Big Sluice while we were going up. They were in a group of 12 rigs. I  that '79 Ford! Gorgeous truck! I never did see them at the actual event though.

ETA: I'm uploading pics... :)

Since Brockbuilt broke down we left together and these are all I have  :shudder: made it to the slabs and had to tow 2 rigs out and well....

:usa: :beerwhack:

Thank you for the help Yeller   . Sucks that I had to break so early in the trip  :rivers: . I would have had a hell of a time making it out without your help since I was sporting one wheel drive. Hope to see you up there next year. Maybe I'll have better luck. The best part about it is I just rebuilt that axle for MCR and the ring and pinion only had about 150 break in miles on them. Looks like I need to go with a 60 or 14 bolt next year.

How was the trip Up Cadillac?

Saturday afternoon.  :beerchug:

Trip up caddy wasnt a problem for me.  I was behind tom inn his 1st gen.  He broke one leaf and tweaked the other 2 on his right rear on sat I believe.  I told him he should prob strap it so it doesnt break completely but he thought it would be fine.  Half way up the 1st part of caddy it broke completely so we had a little delay getting out.  I am still in Tahoe atm since I have death wobble so bad I cant even go faster then 35.  I have been working on tryin to figure out whats going on.  Ive pretty much tore the whole front end down and put it back together.  I am thinking its a tie rod andI cant adjust my camber on right side.  Thread issue I think.  So I need to find somewhere I can get the threads tapped again.
I was extremely suprised my truck made it thru some of the stuff up there.

You know, that is a pretty good idea. Even if you just throw $20 a check into a jar or something - the hardest part is not spending it.
