Trade a 84 Xcab truck for tires , lockers or gears
« on: Aug 14, 2009, 04:43:55 PM »
I am sooo in need of those three things right now.  MCR is getting close and I need to get this 84 xcab out of my dads yard.  I am gonna need 35x12.5x15s or 4.88/5.29 gears.  Lockers is open at this point.  If I dont get rid of this thing soon its gonna go to the wreckers.  It doesnt have an engine or trans but I have a top shift tcase still.  The truck is rough and needs so major tlc but I really would rather be a crawler or a parts truck since the paper work is a little screwy atm.  I have bill of sale and all the paper work but its like 6 months behind.  This is Jimbos old truck and I wish I could have kept for him to have when he can get back from basic and tech school but I cant store it any longer.   I am not tryin to make a profit on this truck but I would like to get some parts to get my truck more trail worthy.
Plus I still have the 22RTE head which I have steam cleaned and stored inside.

The truck is in Pleasant Hill , Ca  being stored at my fathers work yard.  I was told to have the truck gone asap.  Its the main reason I am getting rid of it.  Really I am not tryin to make money on this truck.  I am just using it to get my truck more trail ready.  Its why it was posted as a trade not a sell.  I do have all the paper work for it as well as a bill of sale made out to me.

Just to give you an idea I have had this truck about a month now and I havent sold a single thing off it.  I did trade a few engine parts for a rear bumper but other then that its pretty much same as when I got it.
I am stating this because I dont want people to think I helped jim out only to get his truck to sell it.  Personally this truck has been WAY more trouble then its worth.     :idiot:

i gave josh my  truck, so no worries he stole it or anything

i put a lot of work into it, and i loved it, but as i was leaving for the air force, wasn't able to deal with it anymore.... i signed a bill of sale over to him, along with all the wierd kinds of paperwork i had with it

to get it streetable, would need to run, but would need a smog check, and a year in back fees, the current reg, expired march 09
