Topic: wiring a brake light and turn signal

Hey guys,

I just built a flatbed and I am stumped on the wiring.  How can I hook up aftermarket brake lights.  I was thinking of installing one oblong red light on each side but how would I make it be the brake lights and turn signals?

You need to get a converter from a trailer supply or auto parts store.

Should be pretty easy.  Just have somebody turn on everything while you probe with the test light at the plug for the light, mark each wire for what it is, then make a little sub-harness to plug into the new light assembly and you're done
