hmmm, i be inspired, so when all is said and done, how much money do you think you will have into this bad boy?

Now that I have all of the tools, if I were to make another one, I'd say about $500.00 ($300.00 parts/$200.00 upholstry labor) . I know it sounds like a lot for "just" a canvas top(not a cheap vinyl) but now that it's done. I feel it's soo worth it. The ease of taking it off and on, canvas instead of vinyl, completely weather proof, the pre-made ones cost more especially since they charge more for different colors and most of all everyone digs it and I'm able to say "I did it" . I also had fun doing it.

what did you use to sew the canvas I have some black canvas I got and nothing will work and hand stiching is to much

what did you use to sew the canvas I have some black canvas I got and nothing will work and hand stiching is to much

I cut it the way I wanted it sewn and took it to a local upholstry guy and he sewed it all up for me. Hence the $200.00 labor.

it looks like something you would spend a grip on out of a magizine. looks great! any other plans for the truck?
