So you are using 22r motor mounts for the t-case?

I'm using the same LC Eng. motor mounts as pictured for the motor and the transfer case.

i cant get over how sweet the plated frame came out,  what program did you use to measure and cut out those pieces

Thanks guys!

The way I made the plates...
I traced out the frame using a big piece of cardboard, then I plotted a graph by hand on the cardboard for every inch. I entered the points into SoildWorks using a caliper and working off squares. Then printed a few 1 to 1's to make sure everything was smooth. Once I had something to work with in SW, laying out the holes was the easy part. Then I sent a few DXF. files to a local shop and had them cut out.
And because I could press the cardboard up to the frame while tracing and then drawn in 2D, the plates matched the frame nicely when clamped into position.
It's not coolest way of doing it, but it worked for me.

Flame me for my drawing looking like :pokinit: but I don't give a rats ass

Thats sick. All this fabrication going into parts hardly anyone pays attention to...Cant wait to see the finished rig.

I like hearing new idea's from others too, so if anyone has something to share, lets here it, I might build it.

Yea, I've got a local fab shop that has an in-house water jet and all the nice fab shop equipment to go along with it! So the tolerances are tight, and the possibility's are endless. Those motor mount perch face plates are cut by water jet. Believe it or not, but those custom plates were less expensive then those pre-made, thin gauge, energy suspension toyota plates you can get from polyperformance.. After the total comparably

Not to take away from the awesome fab work but, do you have a storage compartment in the passenger side floor board?

I'm glad someone caught that!   yea, I found the avatar somewhere online. Looked like a mix of Misfits and Hank III.. must have been those pill that I took.

LoL, dude.. I swear! I didn't make that POS! It was like that when I bought the truck. I haven't decided if I'm going to remake that box (nicely) or what. My power converter fit quite well in it tho.

Did you have to re-fab the trans tunnel to move the motor up that far?

Nope, it fits. But keep in mind that messed around with my cab too. I'm not sure if it moved, if anything I would say it came down just a little.
