Toe Jamm!!!

To lift, or not to lift? That is the question.

Toe Jamm will recieve 38's either way. I am leaning toward building it with absolutely no lift, 38's and a flat belly. My last rig, the MetalMangler, was running 38.5 boggers, flat bellied, with only 3 inches of lift. It was pretty SICK but I want to go lower and pound on this piece.
One thing to always remember, a SAWZALL CURZALL. Make sense?

if you want to hack it up, go for it..... i think it's a shame to see a 4 runner hacked up though

is it ifs or SA?

It is ifs, for now. I wouldnt hack it up but I sold my last rig and I am fiending to go wheeling again. Besides, I cant go from hardcore to apple core. lol

Toe Jamm and I had an eventful day. We got up at 7:30a.m., pinned the doors, removed the mud flaps, and took the top off. Then we headed out for a late breakfast with my Dad, picked up some supplies from the hardware store, and headed back to tear some stuff up.
No doors, no top, and no mud flaps

Jumped on it hardcore today. Bobbed the top, notched tailgate, boxed tailgate back in, and put it all back. Now I just have to do a lil body work.

Wheeling season is here so I decided to get this beotch on the trail for the time being and turn it into an on going project. Toe Jamm got a brand new set of mini meats and a new set of wheels today so we can have a lil fun in this wonderful weather. I have big plans but I AM a wheeler so a lil truck will have to do for the time being.
And without further adue, I bring to you Toe Jamm the Tiny Terror!

Got some fiberglass work done today.

Gotta wait for it to harden so I can build it up a lil more. When the outside is done I will repeat the process on the inside.

Progress is slow due to rain for a week straight.
Ready to remove top and fiberglass interior

Scraping off liner

Scraped, sanded, and ready for fiberglass

I used bondoglass with short stran fibers and fiber matt on the interior for super strenght

Two layers done on interior

On the exterior I used fiberglass resin and fiber matt for a smooth finish

Looks great, very similar to what I have going on, but I haven't bobbed mine. Cut the firewall and fenders and slap the big meats on. Mine wheels great with the 35's and dual cases.

I am going to replace them with lexan. It will have to be heated and bent to fit the contour of the top.
