So the weather has gotten better   my mom was given 5 numbers to call  for estaments   well she only called 2   one who wanted all of the insurance $$ cause he was there with the adjuster      and this guy charlie   who was working on demoing a house for a co-worker of hers.

Now this guy charlie   hes mom is our mail lady ( small town )  and his dad works for a local contractor also.   
Rich'es dad works with my mom now rich  dose good work and is not a part of the cluster fart.
 
So he starts on are roof  him his GF , rich  and this guy bobby "day worker  laborer"   3 weeks ago.

well bobby was only here one day and he is the main one being accused of robbing us    7 pices of jewelry   we got 5 back. which charlie the roof go back for us........... 

Now here where it gets fuggly   I think charlie was in on it  even tho he is complying with the state cops  ( i think it's just to save his )
They been working on the roof  and it's been shoty   constantly fixing /redoing f ups   content stories.  and that's when he even shows up 
The garage leaked  , sky lights leaked , trimmed differently    charlie fixed his f-ups  (bounces around head up his )
The caps are the wrong color   and he lied a few times and the roof is not done  when he said it was done. 

NOw here's where it gets really really good
we have been stuck in the house  + my sister and old folk  cause we can't leave the house empty cause he has a key, we have paid him $8000 90% of the job

So we got the records  for charlie and the GF 
charlie has 4 things of theft 3 dropped 1 that stuck was he took $$ from some one for a job and ran. fraud that was droped, forgery ( car tittle )   
He is also going to court next week for heroin possession  charges/needles   and the GF ant much better 

So the cops are going after this bobby guy , then charlie if thay can't get bobby ( i don't understand )
We have to pay another contractor to finish the roof + all his f-ups another $1000 +


So we have been robbed inside and out    and i don't feel any of my stuff is safe.
I keep my CC in my room   there here but if they took the numbers  so i had them changed  today  + im missing a check book had my acct put on hold. So far they have not been violated.    But this druggie  has seen all my toys /tools and what not have you

I got get some security devices  or something  i no longer feel my stuff is safe   in this small no crime town  where we don't even have are own cops   just state troopers who come threw every now and then.

O did i mention  there nails allover the place  + naked nails not under the shingles    and in the house

Change locks.  Big dog.(everyone needs a Best Buddy!(tm))  Chalk it up to experience and not checking to see if the guy is licensed and bonded.  My dad needed a new roof a few years ago and they had it yanked, cleaned up, and replaced in two days flat.  4000sq ft house and it was BAM - done.

Yeah and sue his butt.  This is exactly the type of reason lawsuits do exist.  Get your 8K back and get a real contractor to do it right.

I did change the locks allready,    and the guy who recommended this fing bum he has screwed him over to.

O also they where also doing the sheds ........... 2 are half done    and my shed  was half done ( raining that day)   then on another day he took of the shingles off my shed  and put them on the house cause he ran out   I got holes in MY SHED where MY stuff is

retain a lawyer
contact your local athourities

do everything legal, no matter how bad you want to take things into your own hands (beatdowns etc) that will only hurt your case.

ok I worked for a liscensed roofer for years
demensional shangles can be speendy
some even use 4 bags per square(10x10')
in the pics I would guess somewhere around 14-17 square
the ridge cap is way off
did this guy never hear of a chalk line?

it looks like more than enough to let the water freely run off

side note, I got roofed a 29sq house a while ago where the wannabe roofer got 8k in advance and did 2 days work mayby 4 hours and ran off and was never seen again

Same type of thing happened to my Mom.  Guy she hired and paid in advance to due some remodeling to her house he shows up one time tears some walls up and she never sees him again.  She eventually sues him it all goes through court she wins, He files for bankruptcy the next day.  Long story short Mom never gets a penny and nothing ever happened to the guy.

thats not even ridge
just a cheep way of using 3tab as ridge
I do it but only with a 3 tab roof
demensional uses ridge about 50$ per box
and it will match.
and yeah on ridge you can expect to see shinners when using 3 tab
ridge cap is overlaped 3 or so times so you can hide the nails.

I have a update  charlie is in county trooper got his on possession of stolen property.   33,000 bail . Charlie is not giving up this bobby guy even tho charlie says hes the thief not him ..................   O well  b*std hacked my home.  and its confirmed Monday he has court for heron possession

well the roof is done  I have not been up there yet to look it's to fing hot out.   well there are places that need stain  and more goo around the skylights i think till i get up there.
