Washington archery for deer is open now but I typically get serious second season. I have 2 stands up and may go out this weekend to see what's happening. Snow wheeling is a riot and I'm down for sure. My pals have been so busy that I haven't been able to go wheeling with them so I'm anticipating winter.

Bought another 85 axle. Complete from hub to hub and a lot less disgusting than the other ones I've worked on. Gonna tear it down in my own time, cut and turn it, armor it, make it pristine, lock it, Longs, and toss it in. This way I can do it as funds are available and have no down time.

nice nice. I am doing the same thing right now and im thuroughly cleaning every part and right now i got taco discs and IFS brakes all the way around. im doing mods and what not now.

Havent had a vehicle since last winter. had to get rid of it due to not having room for it and the landlords were complaining. im at a new house now and im restoring an 87. gettin back into the truck i originally had... (diff one, but same truck) I am in need of a truck, suits my needs. so I am going thru everything. the truck is in Spokane Valley at my buddies shop, and i should be bringing it home next week. I am bringing the axles and all the parts down this thursday so my buddy can swap it all on at his fab shop. then once i get it home I am going to rebuild a 22R, find a W56 and get drivelines made... and be ready to rock! I wanna wheel this winter confidently. I am thuroughly going thru everything cause i want no problems with it. I eventually will hand this down to my son.

besides getting another axle.... anything else done to your 2nd gen?

Disassembled the new axle, put everything thru the solvent tank, trimmed all the brackets off. Foul work but I want it to be totally sanitary this time. Cut up the brake backing plates but left the brake line support because I haven't really ever liked the hard line not having a support.

I don't know why I didn't think of it the first time. I thought I was pretty cool to think of it till I saw someone else on here just did the same thing. Maybe it's a common thing to do?

Tore out all the carpet and sound padding from behind the front seats to the cargo area, as well as the panels on the back seats and the one on the tailgate. The upholstery was pretty foul. Will be easy to clean now. I may make some alum. skins for the seat backs and hatch. Kinda sucked cause I'm a germaphobe and there was dog hair and ancient funk. Will do the front pretty soon.
