so I got some parts for the 14 bolt..

well I got my rear axle on tires pulled the cover im shaving the bottom down. But before that here was my expedition of the day... My dad sold a tracko, excavator or what ever you want to call it the guy decided he wanted to load it into his old school dump truck and this is what happened after going across my bridge.

no thats my driveway lol. he was going like 5mph if that. there is a culvert right there and he got to close to the edge and it sucked the truck in and just flopped overpretty much upside down super sketch. It was crazy my dad told me and I hurried there and it was pretty intense.

so bad, yeah this was crazy that self loading log truck did work on it when I pulled up the front end was like 4ft off the ground trying to pull it out and flip it over. We had to drag it like 6ft because the tracko was on its side still in the box so we couldnt just flip it over.

yeah worst part is he drives truck for a living... he's not a bad driver or anything he just wasn't paying attention or something.

No he hasnt driven it home yet lol its still sitting in my driveway lol. He did have the track hoe towed home and what not but eyah super sketch and defff sight to see.

the track hoe fit fine it was no big deal that it was in there he just got to close to a really soft edge and it sucked him in pretty fast.

I did get some stuff done on the toy this weekend. Friday I spent all day on my 14 bolt and it is now a 13 bolt haha. I shaved almost the full bolt off the bottom I didnt cut it out and plate it because I just don't like welded steel to cast and I wouldnt trust it. I also cut down the sides re packed my rear springs not really for lift just to keep it from de-arching as fast with all the unsprung wieght and I didn't want axle rap. Its a 5 leaf pack instead of 3 now and it has a cut down overload on the bottom. I also ended up fixing a spring over on a yj for a buddy because it was a hack job from the previous owner and moved my buddies steering box forwards and bobbed his bed so didnt get a lot done to my truck but im pleased with teh rear diff ill post up some pictures in a little.

here are a few pics of the 14 bolt. I forgot the camera so there just cell pics. I didn't shave it how most people do but I figure this will work and if not I have another housing or I can just cut it and shave it all the way. i just think it seems pointless because theres not to much clearance as it is.



and here is how it sits now after I mixed the rear springs and put my wheels and tires on it. they look small but there flat and have 0 pounds lol. off the truck they sit taller than my buddies its wierd.
