YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

But but... you gain an hour!  Don't you want to gain an hour?!

There's not a smiley big enough to show how much this makes me  :shake:

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Oh sure, that's great.... but several months later, the buggers expect you to pay back the hour.

Kinda like an advance on your taxes -- pay me now, or pay me later....   :shake:

:psss:btw, in the Spring, you lose an hour....

Now, those of you who know me know I'm not the brightest light on the tree, but I have a stupid question:  do we really gain or lose an hour, or could we just adjust our schedules around the available light?

surely we could adjust our schedules, because our internal clocks are askew due to DLS anyhow. It just makes it easier because the whole state does it, so everyone is on the same level. I'm gonna be late tomorrow anyway.

and yes, we lose an hour in the spring. clock says 9:49 but it's really only 8:49.

We lose an hour in the spring & gain it back in the fall -- And yeah, we could rearrange our schedules if having that extra hour of sunlight in the evening was really all that important to us.   :dunno:

Being a grumpy old fart, I'd rather have summertime dusk at 9pm instead of 10pm so I could go to sleep at a reasonable hour...

That's what I mean;  if we lose it on one end and gain it on another, we're really doing neither, are we  :disturbed:

Maybe we should just split the difference, and move the clock 30 minutes in one direction, and be done with it. I'm sick of having to change the clock all the time. Half tempted to move to Az so I don't have to do it anymore. Nah that would just be silly.

Funny you should mention that. I always thought time zones were always in one hour increments. Our company has some tech support people in Chennai, India  and their time is 12.5 hours ahead of ours...   :screwy:
