Ive done some one-offs in the XX and XXX flavor before... just warning you the actual print is going to pretty small on those...

Hey tim you really do screenprinting or you just lightin' a fire under my  :moon: ?   If you do, i could pick your brain about some stuff..

TIMS89CRAWLER

yes I really do screen printing... I learned it in school the old school way then at work we bought a press and all the equipment and I have learned how to set-up a screen using emulsion.. what you got and I will try to help you as best I can...

Awesome... yea i kinda view it as a lost art, especially with the digital direct-to-garment printing taking over today.  Anyway, have you ever used capillary film instead of emulsion?  I see big rolls of the stuff for sale and it seems like it could be cleaner, quicker, easier maybe... just figuring theres gotta be some catch???

now is that the stuff that you would cut a design out of and apply it to the screen??? thats how i learned to screen print back in high school...if I am correct,it worked pretty good however was harder to get a good design on than emulsion... with emulsion all i have to do is print out what i want on a transparent paper and expose it and I am ready to go... once you get the hang of how to use emulsion and have the equipment to do it it really is the way to go...

No thats not how cap film works... All i have used is emulsion, and i am used to it.. hasnt really given me any problems other than a few underexposed screens.  But supposedly the cap film is like a thin layer you peel and stick on the screen and then expose just like you would emulsion... just skips the mixing of the emulsion and diazo, messiness of applying it to the screen, etc... I have to believe it would yield more accurate exposure tables too, since there are no variables as long as you use the same film... anyway, just wondering...

Alright guys, i got the screen made last night.  Now i just need a difinitive decision from you on what color i should print.  I  added a poll so you can vote.  I wish i could do both black and white but it would involve more work than i am able to do right now, especially with such a small run of shirts.

As soon as i get a response on color, I will make about 20 or so shirts and begin taking orders!  :beerchug:

Halladay

i want one for sure i voted white on black

toyotanner

i think the black on grey would look good that way i dont have to worry about ruining a white shirt and well i own enough black shirts :gap:

82juguete

Im leaning that way too... i think the black ink reads a lot cleaner, (especially for the pics of the knuckle balls) and a grey shirt would hide a lot more grunge than a bright white one....

82juguete

Looks like white on black is breaking away!   Any objections to that??   Ill try to print a test shirt and post up soon.
