-backhoe operator digging firewalls for oil battery tanks (when i was 12)
-cuttin grass (of course)
-steak and shake drive thru (horrible horrible place)
-worked in a bakery thru most of high school
-line cook
-drug dealer
-sub shop delivery driver
-construction painter
-dishwasher
-line cook
-pharmacy technician (for about 7 years)
-dillards salesman (another horrible horrible job)
-managed a hotel for a university
-managed a steakhouse
-unemployed now!

Let's see now...

    Bicycle and RC car mechanic For 3 years (that was a fun job)  :thumbs:

    Service writer at a Honda MC dealership for 8 mos (that was fun too)  :yesnod:

    (insert tech school here)  :gap:

    2 different Auto parts stores that had an automotive machine shop (mom and pop sorta shops) we even made
    hydraulic hose and served industrial accounts too.  :thumbs: (Not too bad)

    (insert 8 mo unemployment here)  :gap: :gap:

    Worked at a tire shop for 6 mos. (h8ed that job)  :thumbdown:  (see previous line for the reason I took this
    job)  :rofl2:

    Mechanic for 3 different private shops at different times (learned a lot at those places)  :yupyup:

    Mechanic at a Freightliner dealership for 3 1/2 years (wasn't too bad, but glad I left)  :talkingn:

    Now a mechanic at the power company now going on 7 years.  :thumbs:  Best job ever! ............. so far.  :gap:



That's pretty much it. I haven't done much but wrench or have something to do with automotive stuff.  :hammerhead: :biggthumpup:

fast food joint for a couple of months decent job, beer in the fridge liquor in the ice maker at all times :greengrin:
auto parts stores, both napa and a mom & pop place
SYSTEM transport
now I'm driving truck for a local place all up and down the coast.

then HVAC
and have been doing construction since I was 19 im now 26 and am a licensed general contractor and have been for almost a year

i have also been shoveling snow to fill in the gaps when weather doesnt allow me to work

-machinist (cnc mill & cnc lathe)
-RV repair tech/fabrication (my business)
-machinist at another shop
-distributor/smog pump rebuilder / machinist here too (manual mill & manual lathe)
-distributor rebuilder (my next business)
-rv tech again (but much more expensive rigs this time)
-electronics tech (same company I do the RV work for and still currently work for)
-in the process of getting a tow truck and starting a towing company

working on bimini covers for boats and install
warehouse job that builds roman shades for windows
surf, skate and snowboard shop (part time job helping chicks fit their bikini's was the best) :thumbs:

kragen (wholesale manager)
alldata (research specialist for mechanics software program) I basically play on the internet all day :rofl2:

Wow yall have held many different jobs. I've been working at the same place since just after high school. I worked my way up to my current positon (peeon)over the last 13 years. Its know wonder I'm burnt out!  :hammerhead:

Ooooobey kaybey........

First job was a little ice cream joint called Country Corners when I was 15 & 16

Second job was Arby's, and man was I pumped to be making $4.25/hr.!  Worked there the last 2 years of high school and the 2 years I was in business school

First "real" job was a secretary at a fancy nursing home from age 20-22

I then took a secretary job at the University I'm at now, and worked my way into IT work pretty quickly.  So this is my 10th year as a state employee and I'm sure I'll be here until I retire.  :ack:
