oregon 3rd gen build ****FOR SALE****
« on: Nov 26, 2007, 01:49:55 PM »
ok so i found my $75.00 3rd gen x-tra cab to start my new build... i have many plans for this one.... i will be tearing down my 1st gen for all my goodies since the frame is rusted out and the truck has been to hell and back already.... i will be stripping my all pro 5" long travels, all pro hi-steer, my locked axles and a few other little things from the first gen... i will be picking up my 3rz when i find one i want to mate up to my r150f with my double t-case set-up behind it.... i am gonna roll with some square drivelines, 40" iroks and much much more.... here are some pics of it as it sits now with all the ifs unbolted and ready to be cut off.....

then my 1st gen parts donor truck!!

:woohoo:

Nice start. Youll love all the extra space in the cab.

i whipped up a little list of things that are happening in the next few weeks on my build...

-SAS (in progress)
-lots of interior clean-up and small repairs
-remove bumpers
-bob bed
-dovetail bed
-install my all pro 5" springs f/r
-build my custom wiring harness (doing as soon as my wire arrives will post pics)
-3rz swap
-double t-case setup
-remove body lift
-fix body panels
-paint
-exo cage

i got the rest of the ifs :pokinit: unbolted and taken out of the way... i will be cutting off all the brackets tonight after work and getting the frame all cleaned up then hopefully be hanging my front springs axle, steering in the front end.... then i can get it off my trailer and get the rear springs and my good axle installed.... while im  workin on the rear springs and axle swap i will be bobbing and dovetailing the bed.... so i should have a busy week ahead of me with being hella swamped at work and working on this thing at nights.... i love it....i will post some new pics of the progress later today or this evening....
