"The TEXAS Tank ":1993 pickup
« on: Feb 16, 2009, 05:58:41 PM »
UPDATE!!!!New ride...
1993 toyota pickup ext 22re with 85,000 original miles
 SAS on 38's

eventually is going to be a tubed buggy on 38's

got it at the house yesterday.
de-construction begins this weekend!!!

The progress Nathan and I made was good. The neighbors probable did not like the sawz alls at 9am or the impact and compressor....but oh well. Big thanks to nathan for helping out!!!

The 83 in the garage next to the 240sx cause I don't want the HOA after me!

Demo began on the bed, nathan and I tag teamed it with the saws alls!

The bed pretty much done-zo!

Rocking out with no cab! I am ready to wheel like this.

The pile of trash that we cut out. the bed and most of the cab.

Leslie taking it for a spin...

well from the fire wall back was nothing but rust everywhere. So it will be a tubed buggy. I am only going to keep from the firewall forward. It will be a 4 seater buggy on 38-39's TSL's . Going to try and keep the 22r and run propain on it.

the 93 gets built first. As a dd type rig. on some 38 tsl's re-geared with dual cases.. I will still trailer it to events, drive it around town. The buggy will be built aftet the 93.

Yeah it started out with I just need a front axle for the 93. Then come to find out people want some crazy prices for just a front axle.So 500 later I have the 83 rust bucket sitting in my garage lol!!!! A good deal and I planned on building a buggie down the road some time. Not better place to start then the 83 frame.
