Plans are essentially just to keep it going on down the road, it has been in the family since it was new.  I might start building on it in earnest  in a little while being that my Dad just offered to sell me his 94 4Runner.

A little of both.  It has been wheeled early on up to Creede, CO and the continental divide a couple of times.  Survived my early years of abusive driving/wheeling.  A little restoration and repaint after I got tagged at an intersection by a jeep at the end of high school.

Yup I ordered the HD.  I guess a little forward thinking if I do perform any major mods and I don't plan on selling it so why not get a transmission that will go the distance no matter what.  How long have you had your HD?

ya i made a run to the den with my sister and her boyfriend, they rode in his 97 jeep wrangler. look in the chit chat camp for "san antonio wheeling", took a couple of pics before my battery died. found out my 4runner will go through water that is over the bumpers no problem when i was out there haha.

North central Arkansan here; Searcy to be exact. Although this state is beginning to drive me nuts with it's BS gates & lack of public lands for use twelve months a year & the dry counties.....it has been my home for about thirty-five years & I am very fond of parts of it. I've only had a Toyota for a little over a year (yes my first) & I love it nearly as much as my old Dodges. I'm a Yota-Tech transplant, dirtoyboy keeps telling me to come over here because of the lameness of certain aspects of YT, so here I am.  :beerchug:

Not much at all, I have done a little lite work to my 4Runner, rear springs & HD Bil shocks to fix butt sag, OME steering dampener, went to Aisin hubs from ADD hubs, rebuilt the idler arm & PS pump, water pump & timing kit installed when I bought it last year. I'm preparing to put in a front end kit I got off e-Bay, good seller seem to be moog parts, all four ball joints, tie rod ends w/new sleeves, idler arm & pitman arm; all for a couple hundred bucks. I have some beck arnley premium rotors, EBC geen pads, OME long travel shocks & SDORI BJ spacers waiting to go on as well. As soon as I can get my hands on some Koyo wheel bearings I'm going to get started on that project & get all these parts out of my living room floor.

Then hopefully I'm on to a IFS truss from Sonoran steel (bought a Total Chaos truss but it wasn't long enough & had to sell it for a loss) & some Bud built armor, 4crawler sliders & a Marlin rear bumper. The front bumper has got me stumped though, I like the look of the ARB but the cost makes me weak in the knees & I hear to mount the ARB on a Gen2 requires modification. Then I'd like to pop a couple ARB lockers front & rear, on board air & eventually (maybe never but I want it).....a Total Chaos long travel IFS set-up.
