you gonna buy that for my Christmas present  :hyper:
no, but if you send me the money for another landcruiser, 89 i think i'll grab it for ya. the guy is asking 900 (but hasnt sold in 2 months so could go lower). has a bad tranny (auto) and a t-case. go to autotrader.com and look for a landcruiser within 200 miles of 84074 zip code, its on there.

other trucks that i've found up there that i'm interested in are a few late 80's toyota pickups, another nissan pickup like the one i used to have, and an 83 blazer with the diesel.

You would have to be put marlin turtle decals on that blazer cuz everybody is gonna think you have dual cases on the highway you are gonna be going so slow.
If you still have control you aren't going fast enough

haha true, the 6.2 is slow i cant argue that. actually the blazer is an 87, the 83 is a gasser blazer. i'd put either 2.5 or 3" dual exhaust on the blazer to help it out along with a few other things to make it reasonable. some of the guys in the cruiser section are tellin me to stay away from that cruiser unless the guy goes down to about 500 bucks, because of rust (havent seen truck in person).

just did some math, fuel for the diesel blazer is cheaper (even at the much higher price for diesel) for the highway trips i do, so that would help.

If glen buys this and then says he cant come to new years I am gonna drive my car down to eqypt, kick him in the nuts, then turn and drive home. Just kidding but you better be at Flat Nasty Glen. Or else! You never know who is gonna come a calling.

well looked at a few trucks tonight, just 2 so far, that 87 diesel blazer and a 91 sas'd 4 runner. my dad wont go for the runner, guy wants 3100 for it which is not bad with 200k miles, sas'd, and 4 link with coils in the rear (short arms though, looks like he took the front suspension from a newer wrangler and put it back there). blazer runs good, rust in a few spots (mostly surface), tranny fluid is dark and a little low, but shifts better than the tranny on my suburban. tomorro plannin on lookin at a few more blazers (all fullsize), a gmc regular cab pickup, and a 90 toyota pickup, regular cab (in great shape it looks like), 5 speed, maroon, about 160k miles, but has a 3.0 v6.

i don't think so punk, you should check out Toyota Trail Riders http://www.toyotatrailriders.com .  There are a lot of active members in your area, or TTORA.com, which is free, but most of the people from DFW post on the TTR website.  I'm in San Antonio, but make it to a few runs a year in Gilmer.

not lookin for another truck man, my 81 gmc is both my rig and my daily driver. not geared worth a crap right now with 3.08's and 33's, but could be worse. 10 bolt front (i have a spare so no worry's), 12 bolt rear, np208, sm465 (clutch being funny, but i'll drive it till it goes), and a weak 305 with the stock 4bbl carb. i'm trying to decide right now if i should 1st buy a locker for the rear, a cheap lockrite since its a 12 bolt, or go for a diesel swap 1st.
