New to this forum.  Currently I have a '88 4Runner and '02 100 series.  No rock crawling here in FL, mostly mud and a few hills in the northern part of the state.  Anyway, just checking in.

Thanks for the welcomes.  I have owned a 1988 Single cab pickup, V6, a 1983 pickup (just sold), and now a 1988 4runner.  Honestly, I like the looks of the '83 but the cab was just so small and then the carb didn't always run so great.

Now with my 88 I can scoot the seat back, I've got EFI, and the top comes off...can't beat that.

Looking forward to a few upgrades, I'd like 4.88s (I have 33s), some sliders, and a decent rear bumper.  I think I'll stick with the IFS.

Welcome from another floridian Marliner. Where you at anyway. And yea, it kinda sucks around here with nothing to play on. Once you go rocks you don't want to do much else.

Willy, I am in Fort Lauderdale, so wayyy down there.  I have to drive about 5 hours to get anywhere decent (Citrus, Richloam, or Ocala Nat Forest), but that means it always turns into a camping/wheeling adventure.  What part of Florida are you in?

Willy Mammoth

Orlando aera, Nothing much around here either. I miss the rocks and the mud too for that matter.

Thanks for the welcome TallChevy.

And Willy, holys**t I looked at about half of your build thread on the Willys...my god you have done some serious work.  Do you ever go to the FL4WD campouts?  They are usually MLK weekend...I just went to it up at Sertoma Youth Ranch...anyway it's a nice gathering of all different makes of 4x4.
