I might still be able to go. I have not been working on my rig as much due to the HOA Asshat Nazi..
If an extra seat is availible, I can provide a trailer and tow rig from GJ, for diesel and a seat.

I got the TP and shovel...
Want some burgers/dogs/brats? I'm going shopping tomorrow for the trip but don't really know what to bring. I want to bring something so I'm not a freeloader along for the ride.  :beerchug:
Where are we going? I'm just looking on my Colorado gazetteer around Buena Vista... I don't know where to wheel (yet).

Who likes Zima?

We are going to Holy Cross on Fridy with Volcom and his crew. Saturday I am not sure because I am not running Carnage when I need to drive home after this weekend. Sunday I want to run Chinaman's

I only have a little cook stove so the only way we could cook brats is in the campfire. I bought instant oatmeal for breeakfast, chips, granola bars, cheezits and a bunch of Gatorade.

cheezits are a must on a wheelin trip.

Hell yeah man, are you gonna be in camp on thursday? You guys rocking the PBR again lol

Yes, but which flavor? I'm a 'regular' style fan... sometimes go for white cheddar.

Why not run Carnage; does it live up to its name? :dunno:

Think there will be a campfire going or should I pack Pop Tarts for breakfast? I'm not planning on having a huge omelette or anything like that for breakfast... but something substantial would be nice.

PB&J!!

I only like the regulars, so that is what i bought.

Carnage is one of the hardest trails in the state. We can go watch on Saturday if you want. Without a tow home i dont want to take the chance of blowing my weak link (R&P lol).

I am eating instant oalmeal (just add hot water) and whatever else i feel like, prolly some bananas

Yea we are gonna be in camp on thursday with a couple cases of cold PBR.

Volcom

Weather's looking not so hot with chances of precip of 30-40% each day.  I don't mind running Holy Cross in the rain but BV Carnage in the rain can't be fun.  So my Carnage run may be dependent on what the weather does.

Also, please bring some firewood!!

There will be stickers for sale, please pitch this guy a 5 spot for some stickers.  He's from Cali and dropped $200 of his own $$$ to have Jambo stickers made.  We are also holding a raffle, tickets will be $1 each or 6 tickets for $5.  On raffle will be a new set of MTR's in your choice of size donated by Goodyear and possibly something from Scotty at Addicted Off Road!!!!

If anybody else wanted to donate an item to be raffled, please bring it!!!  All the proceeds will be donated to Stay the Trail to help keep our trails open here in CO!!

I am getting so pumped!!

Gave the truck a once over today and checked everything I could think of... first time I have not trailered it, so I am a bit paranoid about something going wrong. So I am over prepared

Any idea on what the stickers look like? And I'll bring firewood also

Same here!!  This week at work is creeping by

Glad the truck checked out.  I still need to give it a once over after Blanca.  I kinda just backed it up in the garage and haven't touched it since.  I still need to gather my camping gear, tools, spare parts and get it packed up again.

That's how I felt 2 weekends ago going to Blanca.  That was the first time I've driven it on 40's to the trail and back.  I'm glad I'm trailering to the Jambo

I've seen the design of the stickers, they look good.  You'll see them Friday  :moon:

So how tough a run are these trails?  I'm a newbie, been up 21 Rd a handful of times by myself, Pretty easy to Carnage Rock then turned around.  No sliders or winch, just got a runner with 6" lift, 35's, marlin doubler, high cross steer, 5.29's w/detroit in the rear.  Will I have alot of he**?  Maybe should just add on and plan for next year...any input from you guys who been there done that ???

There are vehicles from stock to fully built that come to the jambo. The more built trucks are running some of the trails that have been talked about here. There are many other trails that you are more than capable of running

COToy91, you from GJ area too?  I moved to Loma 3 years ago, quite roping and started wheelin, alot more fun.  Do you guys know a Steve Graybeal from over on 28 1/2, anyway I bought his runner 3 weeks ago and haven't moved my welding truck since, just been a wheelin everywhere.

I am from castle Rock on the east slope. Boggerrunner and toytank are both from GJ and have opened a shop there. Come out to the jambo with them and I am sure there will be some trails for you to hit

Not engaging or is it pressurizing the housing?

boggerunner

pressurizing the housing, its either the oring on the fitting going into the housing, broken copper tube, or a bad seat on the spanner nut side.  im hoping for a bad o-ring on the housing

Yes, still have to tear down my driver's side and replace the knuckle.  Scotty is bring me a knuckle.  I should have all the tools.  Hopefully it won't take more than 20-30 minutes.
