Thinking about selling the yota axles and picking up a 60/14b. The only thing holding me back is the fact that im gonna be DD'ing this thing for a little while.

I've got a 14B for mine as well, sitting in my dad's backyard.  The only problem with the 14b is gearing.  You can only get it geared down to 5.38's and nothing lower.  ToyJoeta geared his 60/70 at 5.89's.  I think you'd need at least 5.89's if not 6.16's to DD it comfortably.  I'll go 14B when I get my own truck/trailer.

i hadn't looked into the gearing options that close yet.  I just really like the 14b, maybe i'll grab a set of 60's instead and go 6.17's and some H2 wheels so it isnt ridiculously wide on the road.

My dad's running 60's F&R on his CJ8 with H2 wheels!  It's a great width with those wheels.  He had the rear axle's spindles borred to accept 35 spline shafts.  He's geared at 4.88's and Detroits, with a Ford 302 under the hood.

hmmm, well that's looking like a pretty good option then.  i posted the toy axles up already, so once those go im gonna start gathering parts and hopefully get it SAS'd within the next few months.

If I got anyone's name/info/place names wrong, let me know. I am absolutely horrible with remembering names...
