Hey wakkjobb you should buy my 4runner after the jamboree.

Buy? How about trade... got an 88 Celica AllTrac for sale; check it on craigslist in Colorado Springs. I'm broke as hell and currently jobless. Yay...  :shake_head:

I'd almost rather buy a stock truck and build the crap out of it myself... but I'm lazy so who knows. Still want to tag along to the jamboree though!

COToy, you're in Castle Rock, right?  :dunno: If you need a hand I am willing to give some assistance if I can. Otherwise, I could stand at the exit ramp and wait for someone to pick me up... wait, bad idea.  :lipsrsealed:
But really, the ex's place is like 3 blocks from the I-25 and Uintah interchange so I would just meet you there; don't want to bother driving through narrow streets with a trailer and all that. Give a call if you need help:
(719) 201 9713 and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks!!

I'm not all that great at putting together mechanical stuff but I can weld like crazy. I got a Millermatic 135 (110 volt) and small-ish gas bottle I can cart up there if you need it? As well as grinders, cutters, dremels, metal bits and pieces... just no plasma cutter  .

Sounds good, let a guy know! The CRX gets almost 40 mpg so it's not a big deal to come up there.

Sounds good, glad to see you guys coming!  You'll be fine with the 30' Goosenecks, there should be plenty of room at camp for them.  When towing up to the campgrounds, take 305 rather than 315.  It's an easier drive with the trailers.  Once you make it up to the intersection, make a left and head down the road.  You'll see the campgrounds and all the Toyotas on the right.  You should be fine not being street legal.  You'll just have to tow them to the trailheads, not a big deal!

...so what's a good idea to bring for camping; since I am not wheeling yet. I volunteer to be an unofficial cameraman if needed, film or digital. And I can burn up some breakfast real good-like.

I'd bring a tent, sleeping bag, a couple of days change of clothes, flashlight, and some food.  I usually bring way too much crap when I go camping.  I'm going to try harder this year to leave some stuff at home.

Good to hear!  Glad the truck is back up and running.  You're going to love the hydro on the trails!

I have had this problem of my tcase popping out of low since putting the auto in. It is not the detent springs or worn gears that cause it either. The forward shift tcase i have is a latter model with the shorter 4" shift rails. I called AA and they explained that i needed ones from an 84-88 card truck which are 4.5" and my problem of the adapter interfering with shifting will be solved.

So i sent my original ones to exchange for the correct ones, they sent me the wrong ones, I sent them back and ups lost the contents of the package, i filed a claim and i am waiting for my $100 refund for lost goods, and now i am waiting for the rails to come again from Inchworm...prolly the beginning of next week
