Well bunch of new stuff.

Got the new motor in. I also got the injectors fully cleaned and resealed. Truck runs great. Was able to go 75 up hill and hold 4th and 5th. Wheels pretty awesome. I do need new valve stems in 3 tires though. On that trip though the steering box started puking so i need new seals. Oh also my truck sounds like a damn Acura Integra now that the motor runs good and i have that K&N intake, its ridiculous. Its so loud

  • Within the next week or two the duals are getting put in.
  • Next monday bed is getting bobbed (i think)
  • Sterering box should be getting drilled and tapped soon for my hydro assist
  • And just now i ordered up a new Sky manufacturing xmember so that should be here by next week also.
  • Probably going to pull the steering box sometime next week, pull the drivelines at the same time and buy some sch. 40 and make new ones thatll fit with the duals.
  • Getting new tail lights SOON since a 47" LTB took out my driver side.

Should be pretty legit

Heres the clean injectors. I didnt take pics of anything else because its just a standard 22re in a 3rd gen engine bay.

Also the speedo works now, jsut jammed it on the back of the cluster and its holding. Stereo was semi broken but i fixed it. Heater core works on and off, just needs a major flushing now.

EDIT: I actually recommend anyone that has a truck that sits a lot, high miles or anything like that to get the injectors cleaned/resealed. I noticed a huge amount of power between both motors.

That's sick, how much did it cost to get the injectors done?

$100 from napa on 20th st in Chico.

Half the price of what LC Engineering charges and they do the SAME things at napa.

I might need to look into that. My motor has like 2 hundo on it and I dont know when the injectors were last changed or cleaned etc. It also sat for a year. I cant feel any difference in my efi than with my carb... Plus the 4runner has a legit exhaust and header. plus and electric fan and k&n filter.

I think it would have done alot better with some kind of rear locker.

Its a 10. It hits pretty good. It even hits the lows decent for being a small box. It is fiberglassed though so that helps.

I was going to put my 12 but in order for it to fit itd need a 1.25 cu ft. box which is big and woulda taken up practically the whole seat.

Ok. I'm gonna try and run a 12" Alpine Type S. The air space for those aren't that big really.
I may have them make kinda a center console with the sub firing at the back wall. It's not gonna be ported either.

I had a 12 in my extra cab, it hella filled that cab up with bass. I ended up going to a 10 cause it was over whelming. I dont have one anymore.

Do you have the 12in alpine in your 4runner? If so, how does it do. I need to go speaker shoping but I dont know what to do. I may do one 12 or 2 10s...
