I was just curious....

how long is there snow on the ground?

Are the mountains high enough around there that you can pretty much find (some) snow year round?
RIP KYOTA

Usually, there is snow on the ground till like april-may. Sometimes you can find snow in july if you go to the right spots.

The avg elevation were at in those pics is about 6000. The first pic is around 4500.

This year, if it stays this way, there will not be any snow in 3 weeks. I heard its supposed to snow soon though. It was probably 55 degrees up there today. Soooo nice. Not good since its winter though

snows usually on the ground till about may. and no snow year around... you can possible find some patches on top of mountains but that's it. the sierras are pretty much known for there massive amount of cold weather and snow fall during the winter but our summers are to warm here for any of it to stay. And lately even the winters haven't been anything special.

edit- like chris said if there's no new snow soon it will all be gone within a few weeks. the snow melts way fast here when the weathers nice.

Dam you already blew that biatch up??

No i didnt do anything to it.

Im pretty sure it was like that when i got it cause when i took off the header to put on the stock manifold there was oil allll over the #4 exhaust port. Also around the back of the block only from the manifold down there was oil. And not only that but when i was driving it home on a grade going out of anderson i shifted into 3rd and it puffed a huge cloud of smoke. the guy i got it from said it was a rear main but im almost 100% sure the rear main is fine and all the oil that ever spewed out was through the #4 exhaust valve and into the motor and out the exhaust.

Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:
